Pupil Premium

Airedale Academy receives additional funding of £955 per pupil, per year for pupils who are entitled to free school meals. This additional money is called the pupil premium.

We encourage all parents/carers on low incomes to check their eligibility for free school meals by contacting the school office for an application form, as a successful application will increase the pupil premium funding the school receives.   Children eligible for Pupil Premium receive a free school meal. Our cashless catering system means that no one else will know that your child is receiving free school meals, as the money is added to their account automatically each day and can be spent in the usual way.

A report on the amount of pupil premium received, how it has been spent, and the impact of the spending can be viewed by clicking on the Pupil Premium Impact Report link. Our strategy for how the Academy plans to spend the current year’s allocation can be downloaded from the link below.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
