Pupil Premium

At Airedale Academy, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. The Pupil Premium provides additional funding to help raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and support them in accessing the full range of opportunities our Academy offers.

Funding is allocated based on:

  • Pupils eligible for free school meals (including those who have been eligible in the past six years)
  • Children from service families
  • Pupils who have been in care for six months or more

It is for the academy to decide how the Pupil Premium is spent, but its purpose is clear: to provide targeted support for pupils who need it most.

At Airedale Academy, we track the progress of every pupil carefully and use the Pupil Premium funding to extend and enhance our existing support systems. This includes targeted interventions, additional teaching support, and resources designed to ensure every pupil can succeed. Our approach is strategic, regularly monitored, and evaluated so that every pound of funding makes the maximum impact.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
