Curriculum Subjects

At Airedale Academy, pupils follow a bold and ambitious curriculum designed to inspire curiosity, challenge thinking, engage learners, develop knowledge, and build essential skills for life.  From creative arts that spark imagination and bring ideas to life, to history revealing the stories that shape our world, and hands-on sciences bursting with experiments, demonstrations, and “wow” moments, there is something to capture the imagination of every pupil.

Music Development Plan

In line with Department for Education guidance, our Music Development Plan outlines how Airedale Academy ensures a high quality music education for all pupils.  It sets out our approach to developing musical skills, experiences, and opportunities across the academy, supporting pupils to learn, perform, and enjoy music as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
