At Airedale Academy, we believe strong literacy skills are the foundation of success in every subject and beyond school life. We want every pupil to be a confident reader, writer, and communicator who can fully access the curriculum and achieve their best.
Reading, writing, and oracy are promoted across all subjects, helping pupils to develop a love of language and a passion for reading for pleasure. Through our whole-school approach to literacy, we equip pupils with the tools they need to succeed in learning and in life.
