Why Are Enrichment Activities Encouraged?

At Airedale Academy we encourage all students to participate in our enrichment programme. This includes a wide range of extension activities offered by different curriculum areas.

Enrichment activities are useful for supporting career choices by gaining relevant experience in a particular area but are also a means of realising potential. Students are encouraged to participate both in group situations and as individuals within Airedale Academy. With new clubs starting every term, there is something for everyone.

Students need to sign up to a club through My Child at School (MCAS) on the app or the MCAS website by clicking MCS Parent Login.

If you need any help signing your child up to a club, here is a guide: Video Guide.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
