SEND

At Airedale Academy, we are committed to providing every pupil with a high-quality education tailored to their individual needs. Our approach is guided by the principle of “Know Who, Know How”, ensuring that our staff understand each pupil’s requirements and possess the skills to deliver effective, adaptive and responsive teaching.

We believe that real inclusion is seamless: support is integrated into everyday classroom practice, allowing all pupils to engage fully with lessons and academy life.

Our SEND provision is led by our SENDCo, Mrs P Lowe, who works closely with staff to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive. To contact the SENDCo, please email info@aa.castlefordtrust.co.uk or visit our Contact Us page.

The SEND Policy and the Accessibility Plan are available on the policies page detailing our procedures and commitment to inclusive education.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
