Airedale Academy’s progress leader are part of a dedicated and supportive team that
deals with the day to day emotional health and wellbeing of our students. The role
is to support all students within their year group in pastoral matters, dealing with
student conflicts, liasing with parents and supporting teachers with discipline issues
within their year group. They also monitor and ensure that your child is making social/academic
progress, with outstanding progress being recognised during assemblies which take
place every week during term.
Supporting parents and carers is an important part of the Progress Leader role. If
